 sunderstandings occur. In this session\, Cameron Romney will address three
  key questions: What is culture? What are cross-cultural dimensions? and
  What can these dimensions tell us about differences between English-spea
 king cultures and Japanese culture? The session will include concrete exa
 mples and conclude with suggestions for further reading.\nSpeaker Bio:Came
 ron Romney is an Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies at Kyoto Wom
 en’s University. Originally from the United States\, he has lived in Jap
 an since the late 1990s and brings both academic expertise and extensive l
 ived experience to his work on the intersection of Japanese and Anglophone
