Description
ChatGPT has been all the buzz in recent news, with some claiming it will usher in the next industrial revolution which will once again redefine the nature of work in many ways. With the ever growing popualarity of Extensive Reading in the field of ESL, I sought to answer the question - how well can ChatGPT create an ER library for English learners? The first part of this presentation will describe the process in which I used a combination of ChatGPT and Midjourney to create a library of digital books. The second part of this presentation will outline the steps in my reseach in using this library as an extensive reading assignment for university students - and the overall results and impressions from students.
