The Living on the Edge conference is not for profit. We charge conference fees to cover basic costs of putting on the event and making it comfortable for participants. In the interest of transparency, we would like to let you know that your conference fees will go toward costs such as:
- Providing light refreshments and coffee for attendees
- Covering transportation costs and lunches for student volunteers
- Covering transportation costs and lunches for TELL volunteers
- Other: Basic stationary needs / lanyards etc.
We operate on a trust based system. We do not ask for identification, proof of employment or age. Please pay conference fees based on your situation. Further details can be found below.
Standard Conference Fee: ¥5,000*
JALT Member Fee: ¥4,000**
Self-sponsored Participant: ¥3,000***
Under 25 Years Old / Student: Free

***Your work situation means that you are paying for this conference out of your own pocket.
Additionally, we cannot subsidize transportation or accommodation costs for presenters or attendees. Thank you for your understanding.
