2026 CUE and GALE SIG Conference
Equipping Students for Tomorrow: Equity, Identity, and Agency in English Language Education
The theme of this conference is to promote Equity, Identity, and Agency.
Equity: Ensuring fair access, participation, and support for all learners and educators.
Identity: Recognizing and valuing the diverse backgrounds, roles, and experiences that teachers or students bring.
Agency: Fostering empowerment and enabling learners and educators to make meaningful choices and shape their interactions and contexts.

Registration has started! Early Registration will end by September 20, 2026 @11:59pm.
AND… the Conference Dinner registration has started!! The conference dinner will be on campus, at IL SOLE (https://www.kanazawa-it.ac.jp/campuslife/gakushoku.html). It is buffet style with soft drinks for 2,000 yen and buffet style with one bottle of alcohol for 2,500 yen. The dinner will be from 17:30-19:30 on October 10th! (More information on the food and drinks will be out shortly). Space is limited, so register before it is sold out!
