Description
University and Technical College faculty are considered experts in their fields of study and research. However, formal licensure and pedagogical experience are not often required to teach at such institutions of higher education. Faculty development attempts to address this gap, but offers little practical support or advice on application of instructional methods, especially for diverse learners. This presentation aims to provide support for educators at the university and technical college levels to provide equitable and inclusive instruction to diverse learners in language-learning and content courses. Several resources and practical tools will be shared, along with examples and suggestions for implementation.
