Description
By reviewing existing literature on Language Learning Strategies, including articles on Second Language Acquisition theory related to learner autonomy, this study surveys a variety of language learning strategies and synthesizes research-informed approaches for implementation in the classroom.

The main questions this study seeks to answer are:
(1) What are ways strategy based instruction can be integrated within the existing and prerequisite English courses at the senior high school and junior high school level?
(2) What kinds of learning strategies are the most useful to meet the needs of college-bound EFL students? This study provides insights to guide teachers looking to build autonomous language learners as they prepare EFL learners for the rigors of higher education.
