Description
Learners across all three proficiency levels showed reduced psychological barriers to All-English reading instruction when kinesthetic learning activities, such as Walk & Read and Running Dictation, were incorporated. Lower-proficiency learners became willing to engage independently, intermediate learners showed increased motivation to continue All-English learning, and upper-proficiency learners applied reading strategies during home study and engaged in more output-oriented practice. These results suggest that kinesthetic learning can enhance motivation.
