Description

This session brings together two frameworks, Effortless Mindfulness (EM) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to offer a direct, experience-based introduction to your inner world. We start with a short EM practice drawn from the work of Loch Kelly, just enough to help you step out of the constant stream of thinking and find a steadier, more open place to work from. From there, we explore the IFS idea of "parts," the inner voices, feelings, and protective habits that shape how you respond to stress, self-doubt, and the pressures of life as an educator in Japan. The goal is not insight for its own sake. It is to give you a felt sense of how to work with what is happening inside you, with more curiosity and less self-judgment. Whether you are dealing with burnout, cultural friction, or just a general sense of being stretched too thin, this session offers practical tools you can take home and use.
