Description
We learn by doing. By imagining outcomes, by overcoming obstacles, by testing our decisions, by fixing our inevitable mistakes, and by gradually improving on our partial successes. AI, on the other hand, is a not-doing — and therefore, a not-learning — machine; yes, it can provide ideas for brainstorming, generate sample sentences and vocab cards, output leveled readings, and even write an entire syllabus with lesson sequences. But in offloading this work, what is gained—and lost?
