Description
How can graded readers remain engaging while being accurately leveled across hundreds of texts? Drawing on two large-scale reading projects, a new 180-book series being developed by DTP/Gakken and the 150-title World Cultural Heritage Readers, this presentation shows how NGSL word lists, CEFR alignment, lexical profiling, and online tools can support more consistent grading, vocabulary recycling, and Eiken-relevant progression. AI plays a supporting role, while human judgment ensures story quality, learner engagement, and pedagogical design.
