Description
This poster session, sponsored by the Sendai Chapter of JALT, affectionately known to community members as "JALT Sendai", looks back at a year of chapter activities and events. Among this year's highlights is the Tohoku ELT Expo, our chapter's main regional gathering for language teachers across the Tohoku area to share ideas and connect. We'll also be presenting the Marc Helgesen Scholarship Fund, established to support students and early-career teachers as they take their first steps into presenting, as well as showcasing how the Sendai Chapter works alongside neighboring chapters, including a recent collaboration to fund a mini speaking tour featuring James York.
