This presentation is sponsored by Tsuda University Graduate Student Showcase. This study examined the effects of TBLT on grammar acquisition and motivation toward learning English among senior high school students by comparing an experimental group that underwent TBLT grammar learning with a control group that participated in non-TBLT grammar learning across two instructional cycles. The results indicated positive effects on both grammar acquisition and learners' motivation, although effectiveness differed depending on the grammatical items.
